- elimination of inflammatory processes;
- destruction of bacteria;

The red brush is one of the most ancient plants used in folk medicine in our area. It has long been known that, in addition to its medicinal properties, Rhodiola four-membered very well tones, heals and rejuvenates the body, which occurs due to active cell regeneration.
Today, thanks to modern technologies, it has been proven that the red brush, in addition to all of the above, is able to stop the growth of malignant cells in the body, which, in fact, is an auxiliary cure for cancer.
Where does the red brush grow and what does it look like
The red brush (it’s also Rhodiola four-cut, four-membered, cold, four-part) is an inhabitant of the highlands of Altai, the northern Urals, the Republic of Tuva, the Sayan Mountains, Khamar-Daban, the Barguzinsky Range, Sikhote-Alin.
Among the many types of Rhodiola, only 2 species are medicinal - Rhodiola four-membered and Rhodiola frosty. Due to minor differences, both of these plants are commonly called the red brush.
Why Red Brush? The bud of the plant is a group of small scarlet and pink pointed petals (about 3 mm), and the root has an atypical pink hue for flowers. The flower reaches 20 cm in height and is overgrown with dense, fleshy leaves characteristic of all Crassulaceae.
Rhodiola cold blooms in June-July, after which the plant begins to be harvested. Collect only the roots, because. It is this part of the flower that has medicinal properties. Dry raw materials should be closed from direct sunlight and well ventilated place.
Roots can be stored for 2 years. Later, drying begins, and they will not bring beneficial effects.

Comparison and combination of a red brush and a boron uterus
The upland uterus (ortilia lopsided) is the sister of the red brush in its medicinal properties. The plant also has a positive effect on the gynecological area of application, normalizes blood pressure, prevents the occurrence of cancer, etc.
The main difference between one-sided ortilia and four-membered rhodiola is that the entire upper part, and not the root, has medicinal properties in the former. The upland uterus grows mainly in Siberia, but in much larger numbers than the red brush, which is under the threat of extinction of the species.
The reception of these two plants can be either joint or alternate. In the second case, medicinal forms of plants are used in a weekly sequence. Doctors recommend alternate reception for infertility, mastopathy and menstrual disorders. In malignancies such as uterine fibroids, it will be more beneficial to take both herbs together.
Dosage forms of a mixture of herbs:
Balm
Recipe Description: Make sure that the dry herbs are not only in equal quantities, but also in the same degree of grinding.
You will need:
- Dry root of the red brush - 2 tbsp. l.
- Dry upper part of the upland uterus - 2 tbsp. l.
- Vodka 40% - 0.5 l.
How to cook: Add the herbal mixture to the vodka. Close the container tightly with a lid and infuse the liquid for three weeks, shaking the container daily.
Infusion
Recipe Description: Try to grind the root and grass as finely as possible.
You will need:
- Dry root of the red brush - 0.5 tbsp.
- Dry grass of the upland uterus - 0.5 tbsp. l.
- Water - 200 ml.
How to cook: Grind the red brush and boron uterus. Add the herbal mixture to the boiling water. Insist for 30 minutes. Strain.
In both types, the medicine is used in the same order and proportions as in the red brush recipes described above.
Christina, 34 years old
The course of treatment of fibroids in the clinic dragged on for 11 months, and then I began to seek help in traditional medicine. I started a course of douching and internal use of red brush tincture and boron uterus. After 5 months, the results of the examinations became better, and soon the disease completely receded.
What to remember
- The red brush is the best tool of traditional medicine in the fight against infertility, hormonal disorders, oncological diseases in the gynecological area, etc. However, you should first familiarize yourself with the contraindications.
- Only the root of the plant has medicinal properties. From the dried mass, you can prepare a decoction, alcohol balm and water infusion. Each dosage form can be used both for douching and for internal use.

Description
Rhodiola rosea grows in cold and temperate regions. In Russia, it is found in the mountainous regions of Altai, the Urals, Eastern and Western Siberia, and in the polar regions of Yakutia. The perennial plant belongs to the genus Rhodiola of the Crassula family.
Another name for Rhodiola rosea is “golden root”, due to the unusual color of the rhizome - bronze with a mother-of-pearl tint.
The plant has straight and thin stems that grow directly from the rhizome. The leaves on the stems are flat and slightly twisted. Outwardly, the stem of Rhodiola resembles a brush. The number of stems in one plant varies from 10 to 15 pieces.
The flower of the red brush is an inflorescence of 3-5 corymbose or racemose flowers of dark red color.
Collection and storage
For therapeutic purposes, the roots of the red brush are used. The collection begins at the end of the flowering of the plant, at the end of August. The plant must be at least 3 years old. The age of the plant is determined by the stems, which should be at least 15-20 cm high.
After harvesting, the roots are cleaned from the ground, washed with running water, rotten and damaged fragments are removed and cut into small pieces. Prepared roots are dried in the open air. Then they are dried in an oven with built-in convection at a temperature of 50-60°C.
The readiness of raw materials is determined by the internal section of the root. It should be pinkish-brown in color with a pleasant rose scent.
Completely dried raw materials are packaged in glass containers and can be stored for three years in a cool and dark room.

With menopause, women experience unpleasant symptoms, which are expressed in violation of the frequency of menstruation, hot flashes, changing mood, nervousness and fatigue. This is due to a decrease in estrogen production.
A decoction of the red brush reduces all the symptoms of menopause and allows a woman to lead a normal life.
Cyst and polycystic ovary
With a hormonal imbalance, a disease such as a functional ovarian cyst may also appear, which periodically disappears and occurs with a new cycle of ovulation. With polycystosis, a follicular cyst occurs at the sites of formation of follicles in the ovary. The development of these diseases is also associated with a decrease in the level of follicle-stimulating hormone, which inhibits the maturation of new eggs.
Tincture and solution of the red brush allows you to get rid of ovarian cysts. But the treatment should be at least two months.
Since the red brush is a powerful ovulation stimulator and has a hemostatic property, its use is not recommended during menstruation.
endometriosis
Adenomyosis (internal endometriosis) develops as a result of mechanical damage to the endometrium during abortion, curettage against the background of a low level of progesterone. It is expressed in the thickening of the walls of the uterus, in which endometrial cells grow. Bloody discharge from the genital tract appears. In the complex treatment of endometriosis, phytohormones are used. The use of a red brush allows you to normalize the hormonal background, stop the growth of endometrial cells.
uterine fibroids
The myomatous node is formed during the growth of the endometrium of the uterus, it can develop into an oncological disease. There are many reasons for the development of this disease - a hereditary predisposition, an increased amount of estrogen, stress.
A decoction of the red brush, rich in glycosides and phytohormones, has a unique estrogen-like effect and prevents the occurrence of neoplasms.
Properties of red brush decoction for weight loss
Atraglycosides in the root of the red brush are natural laxatives, they irritate the receptors in the intestine and normalize its work. Chromium and sterols lower blood cholesterol, selenium and gum remove toxins, and organic acids promote the breakdown and elimination of fats.
Regular use of a decoction of the roots of the red brush allows you to normalize metabolic processes in the body, which leads to weight loss. A decoction is recommended for people with diabetes and hypertension.
How to prepare a decoction, tincture or solution yourself
The preparation and use of decoctions and tinctures of the red brush for women's diseases should be agreed with a specialist. Homemade products should not be stored. Therefore, you should prepare a decoction for a day.
Decoction preparation
The broth is prepared in an enamel bowl (not galvanized). One tablespoon of the roots is brewed with a glass of boiling water. The container is put on fire and, with constant stirring, the contents are heated until signs of boiling appear. Then the fire is reduced and kept for another 10 minutes. Add another half a glass of boiling water, mix, remove from the stove and leave for an hour under the lid for further infusion.
Drink a glass of decoction after meals at lunch and in the evening. The duration of treatment is 1-1.5 months.
Preparation of tincture
Two tablespoons of the root require 0.5 liters of vodka, or 230 ml of 96% alcohol (diluted with ordinary water to obtain 0.5 liters). If the roots are too large, it is recommended to grind them before cooking. Pour the roots with the resulting solution or vodka, close tightly and let it brew for a month in a dark and cool room.
Apply tincture before meals, 30 drops for a month.
Preparation of a solution from a decoction or tincture
The solution is a derivative product that is prepared by diluting a decoction or tincture based on one tablespoon of the finished product to half a liter of boiled warm water. The solution is used for douching at bedtime for two weeks.

Nature has no competitors in terms of healing the human body. Our distant ancestors did not know about the existence of antibiotics, but they could cope with most of the ailments that accompanied humanity from the Cave Age to the age of high technology and the Internet. The red brush, a unique plant endemic to the Altai Mountains, proves the superiority of Nature over the chemical industry, which has taken over modern pharmacology.
What kind of plant is a red brush
This small herbaceous plant grows only in Russia - in the almost reserved conditions of the Altai Mountains. The official name of the herb is rhodiola quaternary or rhodiola cold colloquially. The plant has a red color due to the high content of anthocyanins and betaines in the composition of the leaves.
What is the feature of the red brush for medicine
The red brush has no analogues in nature in terms of its healing effect on the human body. The main and most important advantage of the plant is that preparations from it do not act on the consequences of the disease, but on the original cause of the disease. That is, by taking a red brush, a person not only gets rid of pain, for example, in the stomach or a headache, but the very cause of pain is cured. For example, normal blood circulation in the brain is restored or endometriosis, which is the cause of a protracted painful condition of a woman, is cured.
How red brush heals
Preparations from this medicinal plant have immunomodulatory and adaptogenic properties. To put it simply, the red brush affects every cell of the human body, cleansing and rejuvenating it, and most importantly, restoring the functions of diseased organs. This property - rejuvenation of organs and tissues from the inside, as if turning back the clock and "twisting" the biological age of organs and tissues, today has no medically justified explanation at all. Modern scientists cannot yet decipher the action of the red brush, so they simply state the fact of its rejuvenating effect on the human body from the inside.
What does the red brush treat?
Preparations from the red brush are used in the treatment of a number of diseases, which is called "from head to toe." Starting with a concussion and ending with menopause, the red brush cures an entire medical reference book of diseases when used correctly and while observing the time intervals of treatment. Even benign tumors, epilepsy and bone fractures "surrender" to this medicinal plant, if you do not deviate from the doctor's recommendations.
And, of course, consultation on the use of the red brush with the attending physician is necessary, because the patient may have a banal intolerance to this medicinal plant.
How to prepare red brush medicines and how to take them
From the dried red brush, you can prepare a decoction and tincture. The broth must be prepared in an enamel bowl and strictly in a water bath. Enamelware is placed in a larger pot with boiling water, 1 tablespoon of raw materials is placed in it and 1 glass of boiled water is poured, heated or cooled to a temperature of 70-80 degrees Celsius. Then this raw material is heated for 15 minutes with constant stirring. It shouldn't boil, and it won't. The brew thus obtained is closed with a lid and cooled for 45 minutes in natural conditions. After the specified time, the raw material is squeezed out, and the finished broth is poured into a glass dish. Such a medicine can be stored for no more than 2 days and only in a cold place. Take it in a tablespoon 3 times a day.
How to take red brush tincture
Another alcohol tincture will be prepared from the root of the red brush. Dry raw materials in the amount of 50 grams, poured into a glass jar, are poured with 1 bottle of high-quality vodka or 70% alcohol. Within 30 days it is necessary to store the tincture in a dark place, shaking the jar daily. After a month, the tincture is decanted and put in the refrigerator. It doesn't have an expiration date. You can take 1 teaspoon 30 minutes before meals. Alcohol tincture of the red brush works in the same way as a decoction.
How to take a red brush
In order for the reception of the red brush to be correct, several restrictions must be observed in its use.
- The first time to take a red brush is recommended before 9 am, but no later than 30 minutes before breakfast. The second time 1 hour before the lunch meal. And the third time half an hour before meals, but no later than 19 hours. Medicines from the red brush can deprive you of a night's sleep due to their stimulating effect on the male and female body, as well as due to increased brain performance.
- In no case should you take drugs from the red brush while taking hormonal drugs. It is necessary to exclude from the treatment even herbs that change the hormonal background of the body, such as clover, licorice, cocklebur, lovage, sage, hops. Also, you can not drink a decoction and tincture of the red brush at high temperature and high pressure. Women should stop taking these medicines on critical days. If pregnancy occurs, red brush treatment should be stopped immediately.
- Treatment with a red brush should be carried out in courses - a month to take drugs, a 15-day break. Such courses must be completed at least 3 to enable the red brush to show all its unique qualities. After a 3-month course, a monthly break is required. After that, it is advisable to go through another 3-month course in order to consolidate the results of treatment.
- For the treatment of female gynecological diseases, as well as infertility, it is recommended to combine the red brush with the grass of the upland uterus, which is an undeniable healer in terms of restoring women's health. With the onset of a long-awaited pregnancy, it is necessary to stop taking the red brush, leaving only the upland uterus for its successful course. It should be remembered that the red brush “cleanses” and can lead to miscarriage, but the upland uterus, on the contrary, strengthens and preserves the fetus in the mother’s womb.
And we must also remember that we lose our health for years along the way of our lives, and we should not expect that the gifts of Mother Nature will return it to us within one night (day, week, month). Have patience in treatment - "patience and work will grind everything" ...
Description
Red brush- Rhodiola cold. Her name from Latin (Rhodiola quadrifida) into Russian is translated differently in various sources: Rhodiola four-part (four-bladed, four-cut).
This is a medicinal plant of the Crassulaceae family. One copy usually consists of several stems of small height - from 15 to 30 centimeters. Each stem is densely strewn with narrow dark green leaves and resembles a brush with sparse bristles - hence the popular nickname. The "red" cold "brush" is called for the color of its fruits and roots, due to the content of anthocyanins. The Red Brush blooms with medium-sized yellow-green, sometimes yellowish flowers, which are located on the top of the stem and are collected in inflorescences. In nature, it comes across quite rarely, many places of its growth are protected. Rhodiola cold grows in Pakistan, Kazakhstan. Copies of the Red Brush come across in China and Mongolia. In Russia, the Red Brush prefers to climb higher, into the mountain ranges of the Sayan, Tuva, and the Altai Mountains. Almost all domestic Red Brush is harvested in Altai, the local nature is ideal for its growth: harsh rocks and rocky slopes, banks of mountain streams and deep crevices are the favorite places of this unique plant in every sense.
Procurement and storage
Since it is difficult to find Red Brush in significant quantities, it is not easy to procure it. It grows in remote mountainous areas, and usually in very modest numbers. To stumble upon the large thickets of the Redbrush is an almost unattainable dream for an herbalist.
For use in herbal medicine, the root of the plant is needed. It is the wide root of the Red Brush that goes deep into the earth that allows the plant to survive in the harsh mountain climate, sucking water from the distant layers of the soil. The flowering period of the Red Brush is the first two months of summer. After that, the time comes for the collection of the plant - and it lasts until the fruits appear. The rhizomes and roots of Rhodiola cold are dug up by hand and then thoroughly cleaned, washed and dried. For drying, rooms with good air circulation are suitable. It is also possible to dry the roots in the oven at a low temperature. To obtain the highest quality raw materials, it is recommended to dry them immediately after harvesting.
Ready raw materials can be stored for 24 months - during this period, the Red Brush retains its healing properties. Raw materials can be placed in closed birch bark tubs, tin containers with lids are also suitable.
Usage history
The traditions of healing with preparations from the Red Brush go back to the deep past. Herbalists of the Altai Mountains have legends about the Red Brush, the plant is revered as a gift from the gods to people. Healers say that the Red Brush works almost magically, helping from a wide variety of diseases, and not just relieving symptoms, but eliminating the causes of the disease and healing the body at the deepest level. They say that taking the Red Brush makes a person younger, restores lost strength, reveals the reserves of internal energy, which the patient had not previously suspected. Shamans, on the other hand, can perform special rituals in which the Red Brush is involved - after that, a person becomes protected from illnesses and troubles for a long time.
Due to its rarity, Rhodiola cold is included in the Red Book of some regions - for example, in the Republic of Sakha and Buryatia, is under protection in some reserves. It is also recorded in the book "Rare and Endangered Plants of Siberia".
Since the scale of harvesting the Red Brush is quite small, in Russia it is considered a plant little studied in medical science. However, physicians from China and Europe show great interest in it. Their research shows, in particular, the effectiveness of the use of Rhodiola cold in the treatment of certain cancers. It can be expected that in the very near future the scientific world will start talking about this plant. The red brush finds its main application in modern herbal medicine in gynecology.

This natural treasure contains cobalt, manganese, nickel, the noble metal silver and even a representative of the group of rare metals - molybdenum. There are cold waxes, tannins, sterols and natural sugars in Rhodiola. Valuable Essential oils, phenols, several Organic acids also contribute to the biological value of the Red Brush. Of particular value are glycosides - tyrosol, tricetin and salidroside (it is also called, by analogy with the scientific name of the plant, rhodioloside). Salidroside is responsible for the amazing talent of the Red Brush to eliminate inflammation, fight infections and malignant tumors, as well as show adaptogenic properties and normalize hormonal balance, and at the same time metabolism.
