The term “venereal disease” comes from the name of the ancient Greek goddess Venus, who was the patroness of lovers and carnal pleasures. The term itself defines the way the infection enters the human body. As a rule, all sexually transmitted infections that exist today are transmitted through unprotected sexual contact with an infected person. However, there are rare cases of penetration of the infectious agent through other routes. For example, syphilis can occur through a kiss.
Syphilis, as a chronic venereal disease, ranks third among infections of this type throughout the world. It has three stages of development and, if treated irresponsibly and without treatment, can cause multiple pathologies. Among the consequences that acquired syphilis through a kiss can lead to are damage to the skin and soft tissues, disturbances in the functioning of internal organs, and destruction of bones.
Syphilis first made itself felt 400 years ago. Over such a long period of its existence, it managed to destroy millions of lives around the world, leading to many cases of disability and dementia in infected people. Despite such a long period of its existence, medicine still cannot guarantee a 100% cure for this disease. Also, no reliable preventive means have yet been invented. The only way to protect yourself from syphilis is to carefully study the characteristics of this disease and protect yourself during close contacts with untested people.
Syphilis is especially dangerous because it can be transmitted to a healthy person not only through sexual intercourse, but also through close household contact or through blood. Cases of infection with syphilis through a kiss against the background of the total number of cases of infection are extremely rare. However, they do exist and the need to observe basic precautions has not been canceled.
It's no wonder that so many people are wondering if syphilis is transmitted through kissing. As most modern venereologists reasonably note, the primary signs of syphilis appear in the place where pleasure was received. That is, as a rule, a syphilitic infection begins its development on the human genitals and affects the foreskin, glans penis, scrotum, pubis, labia minora, and anus. In rare cases, the infection affects the cervix or ureteral canals. Syphilis during oral sex affects the oral cavity and can lead to inflammation of the lymph nodes.
There is a common question about whether you can get syphilis through the saliva of an infected person. How does syphilis become infected through a kiss?
First, it is worth saying that not every kiss with a sick person can become infected. Syphilis infection is extremely mobile and can easily move along the mucous membrane from a sick person to a healthy person. However, if the kiss was friendly and the mucous membranes did not touch, the infection most likely will not penetrate a healthy body. Is syphilis transmitted through saliva in the primary stages of syphilis? The danger of infection is represented by kissing, in which contact of mucous membranes occurs.
A high risk of contracting a dangerous infection occurs if a healthy person has wounds or microcracks in the mouth. In such cases, the virus will easily penetrate inside the body, which in turn will inevitably lead to the development of oral syphilis.
Oral syphilis can be contagious even if the saliva of an infected person enters the body of a healthy person. This can happen not with a kiss, but with the use of common household items, dishes or bathroom accessories. In this case, infection on healthy areas of the skin does not pose a threat. This is due to the fact that although the harmful microorganism is extremely tenacious, it cannot exist for a long time outside the mucous membrane of the human body.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW!
Dangerous bacteria on the body of a healthy person die after a few tens of minutes. However, if the saliva or blood of an infected person comes into contact with damaged areas, wounds or small scratches, infection may be inevitable.
What causes syphilis through a kiss?
Oral syphilis, like other forms of syphilis, develops after penetration into the mucous membrane. The ideal conditions for its existence are the humid, oxygen-free environment of the human body. The mucous membrane of the oral cavity is ideally suited for the reproduction of spirochetes and is the same favorite habitat as the mucous membrane of the genital organs. The incubation period for syphilis infection through a kiss can last from 1 to 1.5-2 months. During this time, the spirochete manages to attach to the soft tissues of an infected person and begin to reproduce.
What happens if syphilis is transmitted through a kiss?
At the end of the incubation period, chancre begins to develop in the mouth of an infected person. Chancres are considered to be These appear to be purulent skin lesions that closely resemble herpes. However, if syphilis is transmitted through saliva, the skin lesions do not hurt, itch or cause pain.
Painful sensations with oral syphilis can occur in some atypical forms of its manifestation:
- . It is a complication of oral syphilis. Infection from chancre in the mouth can penetrate deeper and affect the tonsils of the infected person. In this case, the development of skin lesions and inflammation begins on one of the tonsils. It is important to note that with this atypical form of syphilis, the infected tonsil does not cause pain when swallowing food and does not cause an increase in body temperature, as happens with sore throat.
- Inflammation of the lymph nodes. Often with oral syphilis, an infected person may experience inflammation of the lymph nodes. This occurs in cases where the sexually transmitted infection syphilis is not the only one in the body of the infected person and affects the body in conjunction with several other diseases of a similar type. With syphilis in combination with HIV, the primary symptoms can develop much faster and in a more aggressive form, which often leads to tumors of the throat, nasopharynx, and large swelling in the area of the lymph nodes behind the ears.
- Tissue phimosis. Syphilis in the oral cavity can appear on different parts of the mucous membrane. If chancre occurs on the tongue or palate, they usually look like small, hard, mushroom-shaped growths with a slight purulent filling. However, if the initial signs of syphilis affect the lips or gums of an infected person, they can develop into serious tissue damage over time. This is usually due to the fact that chancre on the lips or gums is very easy to rupture when eating or performing normal hygiene procedures. If an infection from chancre gets onto healthy areas of the skin, it can cause an inflammatory reaction and spread of infection, as well as cause an increase in body temperature, swelling in the mouth and nasopharynx.
How dangerous is syphilis through a kiss and how to treat it?
First of all, it is worth saying that oral syphilis is one of the most dangerous forms of syphilis. Especially during primary ones, when an infected person is extremely contagious due to the specific location of the chancre. Primary syphilis of the oral cavity is marked by a high concentration of spirochete bacteria in the saliva of an infected person, which causes infection even with fleeting household contact.
Syphilis through a kiss is very dangerous for the patient himself, since the chancres in the mouth are extremely sensitive and easily destroyed. When eating or brushing teeth, wounds can be easily damaged, which will cause the spread of infection and worsen the condition of the sick person.
Oral syphilis cannot be destroyed by ordinary rinsing with bactericidal agents or lotions. The appearance of chancre in the mouth is a direct sign of infection in a person’s blood and is a reason to urgently consult a venereologist. The doctor will prescribe and tell you how to proceed.

Some sexually transmitted diseases can be transmitted not only through sexual contact. All body fluids are the source of certain infections. That is why it is important to know whether you can become infected with syphilis through a kiss. After all, this disease is very dangerous, and if left untreated can be fatal.
Syphilis in humans develops when Treponema pallidum enters the body. This microorganism has a spiral shape, thanks to which it easily penetrates the skin and mucous membranes of its victim.
Bacteria in an infected person are contained in biological fluids:
- blood;
- saliva;
- sperm;
- vaginal discharge;
- discharge from skin rashes, etc.
When they are exchanged with a healthy person, the pathogen is transmitted. The main routes of infection are:
- sexual intercourse;
- kiss;
- penetration of infection through the placenta from mother to child;
- blood transfusion;
- organ transplantation;
- working with non-sterile medical instruments;
- close contact with an infectious person;
- use of other people's personal items.
Whether syphilis is transmitted by kissing in all cases or in certain circumstances - this question should be considered in more detail.
Features of infection through a kiss
Whether it is possible to become infected with syphilis through a kiss depends on several factors:
- degree of prescription of the disease (obsolete and latent forms are less dangerous);
- the presence of manifestations of the disease in the oral cavity (if they are detected, the risks increase significantly);
- violation of the integrity of the mucous membrane (microtraumas, gum disease, wounds are excellent conditions for the introduction of treponema).
The saliva of a person with syphilis contains spirochetes, and the largest number of them is observed in the primary and secondary forms of the disease. Tertiary syphilis does not pose an infectious threat.
When kissing, an exchange of biological fluids occurs - saliva. If a patient has syphilomas in the mouth or lips, their secretions become an additional source of pathogenic microorganisms. Another factor favorable for the spread of the disease is the presence of wounds, even the most minor ones.
It is worth noting that you can avoid getting infected even with a light kiss on the lips or cheek, for example, if there are razor cuts, scratches or the consequences of problematic skin. Such cases are far from isolated.
What increases the risk of infection?
There are some factors that can increase the risk of contracting syphilis several times, including the following:
- Discharge of liquid consistency. Since treponema like to live in a humid environment, various liquids (sperm, mother's milk, vaginal discharge) are considered the most contagious. You can become infected with syphilis through saliva only if there is syphilide in the mouth of a sick person.
- Elements of a dry rash are less contagious. As for ulcers, bacteria can only be detected in them at the edges; they are absent in pus.
- Period of development of the disease. With active syphilis, the most dangerous erosions are on the glans penis and cervix. With the development of tertiary syphilis, the likelihood of infection through sexual contact is minimal.
Important! The greatest danger is hidden syphilis. Patients are unaware of their problem, do not take any action, but spread the pathology to others.
- Presence of concomitant diseases. People suffering from genital herpes and other STDs become infected with syphilis much more easily, since the mucous membranes are damaged as a result of the inflammatory process.
- Weakened immunity. People with weakened immune systems and chronic diseases are more likely to become infected.
In order not to expose yourself to the development of numerous diseases, you should be more attentive to your health and immune system.
How to avoid getting infected with syphilis?
Prevention of the disease is simple and does not require any special effort from the patient:
- You should observe the rules of personal hygiene, use your personal belongings and objects;
- when having sex, it is recommended to use contraception; casual relationships with unfamiliar people should be abandoned;
- after contact with a sick person, you must seek help from a venereologist;
- It is recommended to visit a doctor several times a year and undergo preventive examinations;
- using only folk remedies to treat syphilis is prohibited;
- before planning a pregnancy, both partners should undergo a full examination;
- Communication and contact with a sick person should be limited.
By following these simple rules, you can completely protect yourself from contracting such an unpleasant and dangerous disease.
Consequences and prognosis
The prognosis directly depends on the stage of development at which the disease was detected. With timely diagnosis and timely treatment, the consequences will be minimal. In order to prevent relapses, you should regularly visit the hospital and undergo examination.
Unfortunately, after syphilis, the mark remains for life. The third stage is considered the most dangerous; in this case, many systems and organs are affected. But thanks to developed medicine, pathology rarely reaches this stage.
Complications that can develop after an illness are as follows:
- loss of vision;
- vascular and heart diseases;
- infertility;
- mental disorders.
Syphilis is an extremely dangerous pathology. The cost of developing the disease is high and can cost a person’s life. Cure is possible only with early diagnosis, otherwise numerous irreversible consequences remain.
Frequently asked questions to the doctor
Late syphilis
Several years ago I had sex with a man with syphilis. I did not develop chancroid, but now I saw that there were small pimples on my back, and my nose also hurt. Could this indicate the development of syphilis?
Most likely this has nothing to do with syphilis. But in order to eliminate your concerns, I recommend taking an anticardiolipin test. Consult an otolaryngologist and dermatologist.
Incubation period
Good afternoon, tell me, is it possible to become infected with syphilis from a person if he or she is in the incubation stage?
The length of the incubation period is different for each person. In addition, the disease has not been studied so deeply. Contact persons must undergo preventive treatment.
Possible infection
Can you get syphilis through saliva?
Infection in this way is indeed possible, but only if there are chancres in the oral cavity of the sick person.
Trauma and syphilis
Not long ago, a small injury was received on the shaft of the penis, after which a hard chancre appeared. Tell me, can this indicate symptoms of syphilis if I have never had sex?
If you have never had sexual intercourse, then it is not a chancre, but just a hematoma, which will resolve on its own after some time.

If you have never had sexual intercourse, then it is not a chancre, but just a hematoma, which will resolve on its own after some time.
Syphilis is one of the few diseases whose spread entails serious criminal liability. Initial signs are not detected immediately, but after at least half a month after infection, which represents the greatest danger, because During this time, countless more people can catch the disease.
What is syphilis?
Syphilis is characterized as a significant social disease that threatens not only the health, but also the lives of the population. Over the past 10 years, the incidence of the disease has increased more than 5 times.
If this disease is not treated, it can lead to infertility in both women and men. Cases have been recorded that more than 70% of patients transmit the disease to their unborn children, and as a result the baby either dies or is born with a congenital pathology.
Syphilis is characterized by:
- By type of origin - acquired and congenital.
- According to the properties of the disease - primary, secondary and tertiary.
- According to the time of occurrence - early and late.
Probability of infection
The culprit of this vile disease is Treponema pallidum. Inside the human body, it multiplies very quickly and also rapidly affects all organs.
A very large number of them settle on the mucous membranes, which leads to rapid transmission through contact of any kind. It can be easily transmitted through dishes and household items (this is what characterizes household syphilis).
Treponema pallidum does not induce strong immunity, which makes it possible to become infected again from a sick partner. The virus categorically does not tolerate dryness and high temperatures. It can die when boiled, and if it rises above 55 0 C, the disease particles can die within 15 minutes.
But with everything, cold temperatures and high humidity prolong the life of these viruses:
- Life activity for more than a year at subzero temperatures, down to – 78 0 C.
- The virus remains on dishes with moisture for several hours.
- Even the corpse of a person infected with syphilis can infect others within 4 days.
How can you get syphilis?
This can happen in various ways:
- Sexual relations (oral, vaginal and anal sex).
- Through entry into the blood (shared syringes among drug addicts), household items (shaving utensils, toothbrushes).
- Breastfeeding (infantile syphilis).
- In utero method (congenital disease).
- Through shared household items, if the patient has ulcers or cuts (towel, cutlery).
- Entry through the mouth (saliva). This happens to dentists if they work without protective gloves.
If accidental unprotected sex occurs, then some procedures should be carried out:
- Wash your intimate areas well with soap.
- Next, treat them with antiseptics, for men - the urethra, for women - the vagina.
This method can only protect in 70% of cases and cannot be used constantly. The best option when contacting an unreliable partner is to use condoms. In any case, after these contacts it is simply necessary to be examined by a venereologist. And in order to exclude cases of infection with syphilis, the examination must be repeated after 2 weeks.
Methods of infection at home
People who do not have the habit of frequently changing sexual partners are interested in the question: is it possible to become infected with the disease at home? The answer is clear - yes, it is possible.
Transmission of syphilis in everyday life quite rare, but it still exists. Despite everything, everyday syphilis does occur, especially if one of the partners is sick, although he hides this fact. You can become infected not only from a sexual partner, but also from a close relative.
This can happen when:
- kiss, through saliva;
- using general hygiene items such as a towel, lipstick, toothbrush and much more;
- use of a shared bathroom.
In general, any item on which the treponema virus may be present can become a source of infection. This can happen through a blood transfusion or through a sick mother while feeding her baby breast milk.
Transmission of infection from mother to child
A mother can transmit syphilis viruses to her child during pregnancy. The placenta has the ability to protect the unborn child from many diseases, but syphilis is not included in this list. In medical terms, this type of lesion is called congenital. If inside the mother's body If the fetus becomes infected, it often dies before birth.
The birth of a stillborn child is also a frequent occurrence. If the baby has steadfastly endured the intrauterine attacks of the treponema virus, then at birth a list of the most severe lesions of the internal organs is recorded.
In addition to intrauterine damage, infection of the baby can occur during breastfeeding. A sick mother can prevent her baby from becoming infected by not breastfeeding.
Quite often, when a disease is detected during pregnancy, mothers undergo a caesarean section so that a healthy baby is born. The baby is prescribed artificial feeding.
Iatrogenic modes of transmission
Infection can also occur through iatrogenic means.
This can happen when:
- visiting certain doctors: a gynecologist or a dentist;
- the use of medical devices that have not undergone special treatment;
- performing surgical operations using non-sterile instruments;
- blood transfusion if the donor has not been thoroughly examined;
- physicians can become infected from sick patients or their biomaterials (tests) if they do not follow basic safety rules.
Incubation period
When treponema gets inside, it goes straight into the circulatory system, and along with the blood it quickly spreads throughout the body.
It is worth noting that an already infected person feels great at first. From the initial day of infection to the detection of the initial factors, an average of 8 to 107 days can pass, with an average of up to 40 days. This means that for up to 45 days the patient does not feel any signs of the disease. Even blood tests will give negative factors.
The incubation period is significantly extended by:
- Elderly age.
- Presence of temperature.
- Taking antibiotics in large quantities.
Incubation can be significantly reduced during mass infection, when a large volume of viruses arrives. It should be remembered that During the incubation period, the patient becomes highly contagious. But during this time, the disease can only occur through the blood.
Syphilis statistics
According to statistics, about 12 million people are affected by this insidious disease around the world every year. However, according to sociologists and specialists, this information is greatly underestimated, since not all patients seek advice from specialists.
Many people hide the presence of the disease in themselves; they self-medicate, which quite often leads to their mortality. Age category varies from 15 to 40 years. And the intensity of diseases is recorded from 20 to 30 years.
The disease is more common in women. This happens due to many microcracks in the vagina, which, like a sponge, absorb all the bacteria of this disease. In the Russian Federation, the maximum number of patients is among persons without a permanent address and without a specific occupation.
The leaders in the disease were Far East, Siberia and Volga region.
The first signs of syphilis
Primary syphilis
Characteristic signs of the disease may be an alternation of open and hidden moments. The characteristic signs of the disease acquired through sexual contact do not differ from the symptoms of a common disease.
The incubation period has differences: primary, secondary and tertiary. The duration of the incubation period lasts, as a rule, one month.
Symptoms of primary syphilis:
- The appearance of a red spot, at the base of which a compaction is clearly palpable. The spot is characterized by clear boundaries. The spot may then develop into an ulcer.
- A hard lump may appear on the tongue, breasts, fingers, and anus.
- The lymph nodes are also greatly enlarged. They take on a dense consistency. Palpation of the nodes does not cause pain.
Symptoms of secondary syphilis
Secondary syphilis has the following symptoms:
- Manifestation of the rash across the body of various shapes. A rash often appears in the form of random pink spots.
- Next, they modify their shape into a papule, the size of which varies from the size of a small grain to 2.5 centimeters. After about six months, patients develop pigment spots on the neck area. This is often observed among representatives of the fairer sex. Papules can also be located in the mouth, on the scalp, palms or soles. If they are located on the vocal cords, this causes hoarseness in the voice.
- Secondary syphilis can lead to baldness.
- If patients have a weakened immune system, then this causes the appearance of purulent rashes. If an outsider is at least a little familiar with the signs of illness, then he will be able to identify a sick person.
Symptoms of tertiary syphilis
Signs of the tertiary manifestation of the disease are revealed after 3-5 years, if the person has not started the necessary treatment or simply has not completed treatment.
Tertiary syphilis manifests itself as follows:
- Bright red bumps appear on the body, which develop into ulcers and leave scars after healing. Changes in the skin can lead to irreversible changes.
- To this extent, internal organs are damaged: the heart, kidneys, lungs, liver, and the nervous system also undergoes changes (by the way, it is quite difficult to recover).
Treatment of the disease should be carried out under the close supervision of an experienced doctor and only with modern drugs.
Features of the course of male and female syphilis
Differences in the symptoms of the disease in men and women can only be observed in the initial stage, at the moment when the signs begin to manifest themselves, appearing on the genitals. Subsequently, all subsequent sexual manifestations are erased and become almost identical.
Syphilis occurs as follows:
- Location of the chancre in the urethra. Males can identify this disease by blood discharge from the urinary canal. A bubo appears in the groin area, and the penis becomes quite dense.
- The appearance of gangrenous chancre on the penis. This manifestation subsequently leads to spontaneous removal of part of the penis.
- Growth of chancre on the cervical area. In principle, this neoplasm does not bother a woman; it can only be detected during an examination by a gynecologist.
Atypical syphilis
This disease refers to a hidden disease. This is a very dangerous form, because it does not show any symptoms, but the person remains an active carrier of the disease. The disease appears during a period when the patient took large quantities of antibiotics to treat another type of disease.
The following types of atypical disease are defined:
- Hidden– a very dangerous species, the symptoms are invisible even in the secondary period.
- Transfusion– the disease bypasses the primary stage and begins immediately with the secondary stage, after 2-2.5 months. There are no hard chancre. Accordingly, the treatment procedure becomes more difficult.
- Malignant– rapid development of the disease, chancre gangrene, anemia and instant exhaustion of the entire body.
How to treat syphilis?
The most correct treatment for this disease can only be prescribed by a venereologist. The course of treatment can last from several months to several years.
During the treatment period, the patient should avoid sexual contact, use separate utensils and individual personal hygiene items, which must be periodically treated with boiling water. In a word, he must be practically isolated from society.
Under no circumstances should you self-medicate or resort to traditional methods. This will lead to blurring of the diagnosis and make it difficult to identify it. May result in atypical syphilis, which can be fatal.
In practice, it is customary to treat the disease in a hospital setting. Patients are given penicillin antibiotics every 3 hours for one month. If you are allergic to penicillin, the patient is prescribed tetracycline therapy.
How do you know that you have cured syphilis?
The effectiveness of the treatment process for syphilis depends on many factors. The most important among them is timely detection of the disease. In the earliest stages of the disease, it can be treated with great success with antibiotics.
The treatment procedure is carried out in hospitals or at home under the strict supervision of a specialist. Signs of the disease sometimes remain hidden for several years, so it is quite difficult to determine relief.
A person who has had syphilis can be deregistered from the dispensary if data on its curability is confirmed. The doctor determines the fact of recovery individually for each person, taking into account the patient’s age, stage of the disease and much more.
Signs of recovery:
- Completing the full course of treatment.
- Experts' forecasting results.
- Taking tests and recording all studies during the treatment period.
- Absence of symptoms on visual examination and blood tests.
In any case, after taking all the necessary procedures, a person who has had syphilis observed by a specialist for up to 5 years. In some clinics, the patient fills out the necessary documents in the chief physician’s office. He confirms in writing that he is aware that he will be held criminally liable for the intentional spread of the disease.
Is it possible to be completely cured of an illness?
Treatment of syphilis is a very labor-intensive process that requires a lot of patience and time. The initial stages are usually cured very quickly. At later stages of the disease, treating syphilis becomes quite problematic. An individual course of treatment is selected for each patient.
The initial periods are usually cured within 2-3 months. Later ones will take from 2 years. Syphilis is a very serious infection and its complete cure occurs in stages 1 and 2. The patient is prescribed penicillin in the strictest concentration. The number of injections and dosage are prescribed depending on the stage of the disease.
However, there is no guarantee that the patient will be completely cured of this terrible disease. When re-identified, treatment procedures begin with renewed vigor.
Possible consequences of treated syphilis
Even after the disease has been treated in a timely manner, various consequences may occur. To a large extent, it depends on the stage at which the treatment procedure took place. It can be quite difficult to predict the consequences. After it, internal organs may be affected.
So, the consequences of syphilis can be as follows:

Prevention of syphilis infection
To protect yourself from contracting this disease, you should take the following precautions:
- Use a condom during sexual intercourse.
- Avoid promiscuity and frequent changes of sexual partners.
- After unplanned and unprotected sexual intercourse, treat the genitals with antiseptics, and this must be done as quickly as possible, no later than 2 hours after contact.
- Each person should have separate dishes and personal hygiene items.
- If contact with a sick person does occur, then after 2 months, take all the necessary tests.
- In medical institutions, patients should be examined only using disposable instruments.
- If a pregnant woman detects signs of illness, she should immediately prescribe treatment so that the baby is born healthy.
- Carry out the examination regularly and adhere to basic rules of protection.
It should be remembered that the disease does not develop immunity against itself, there is a chance of getting sick again.
Unfortunately, this is often very difficult to do. Manifestations of oral syphilis include chancre and syphilide, which we wrote about above. With the exception of the lips, in other parts of the mouth it is quite difficult to see the affected elements due to their small size.
When syphilis is localized in the mouth, the submandibular lymph nodes may become enlarged, which can be felt and sometimes even seen with the naked eye. If you have any suspicions that your partner is suffering from an oral form of the disease and may have been infected with syphilis through a kiss, you do not need to wait for the first signs of the onset of the disease. Symptoms will not appear until 21 days after infection. It is necessary to urgently prevent further development of the disease.
Immediately after sexual contact or a kiss, you must thoroughly rinse your mouth with any of the available antiseptic solutions (Miramistin, Furacillin, etc.). In the future, as soon as possible. A venereologist will take the necessary tests and, if the result is positive, prescribe primary preventive drug treatment. Most often these are penicillin antibiotics. If you are intolerant to penicillin - azithromycin, macrolides, fluoroquinolones.
Unfortunately, even timely prevention does not provide 100% guarantees that syphilis has not developed into a full-fledged sexually transmitted disease. In this case, full-scale antibiotic therapy is necessary. The most popular treatment regimens with penicillin and its derivatives are:
- Intramuscular injections of penicillin potassium salt at a dosage of 400,000 units every 3 hours (8 injections per day) for 14 days.
- dose of 1,200,000 units twice a week. There are 4 injections per course.
- A single intramuscular injection of a penicillin antibiotic, extencillin. Dosage – 2,400,00 units.
Sometimes, to treat chancre in the mouth, I use various physiotherapeutic procedures in combination with constant rinsing of the mouth with antiseptic solutions. Considering that syphilis is transmitted through a kiss, it is necessary to maintain personal hygiene. He is also attentive to the choice of a sexual partner and immediately contact a venereologist at the slightest suspicion of infection.
If you become infected with syphilis through a kiss, contact a competent venereologist.
